We are looking for collaborators!
Infonuagix is starting two virtual bootcamps (English + French) for young people aged 18 and over, each with two components: 1) entrepreneurship and 2) investment. We are looking for collaborators: donators and sponsors to help financially, as well as paid speakers to set up and teach part of one or both of these two bootcamps, please.
Part 1: Entrepreneurship
----------------------------
1) business plan, government programs, financial institution requirements for a business loan, incubators, understanding the impact of having investors vs. bootstrapping, etc.
2) bookkeeping and accounting: using a web-based SaaS for accounting or the accounting module of an ERP, knowing how to read a corporate tax report prepared by an accountant, accounting ratios, knowing how to read and prepare a projected balance sheet/income statement/cash flow, GST/QST tax filing, source deductions, paying yourself in salary vs. dividends vs. hybrid, projected instalments to pay corporate taxes on profits, etc.
3) personal finances: financial hygiene, retirement planning - retire in your 40s? Why not! plan a major investment on yourself (health/education) or in real estate (plex) with mobile apps, plan a major expense (car/travel/house/wedding/etc.), insurance (disability, permanent vs. temporary life, etc.), the dangers of credit - consequences of bankruptcy/proposal/etc., wills and incapacity mandates, types of marriage and their consequences of divorce, etc.
4) corporate topics: registered vs. incorporated, provincial vs. federal incorporation, Registraire des entreprises, French company name in Quebec + use of a trademark, joint-stock company charter, share issuance (100 vs. 10000 shares), Unanymous shareholders agreement, minutes, eligible expenses, subsidies, CNESST laws, French labor laws in Quebec, etc.),
5) marketing and sales in 2024 with all the tools at our fingertips (AI, social networks, SaaS, etc.)
6) personal and corporate taxation
7) procurement (eCommerce, logistics in 2024)
8) operations in 2024 (open-source vs proprietary ERP, MRP, TMS),
9) human resources in 2024 (AI, social networks and web-based platforms).
Section 2: Investment
-------------------------
1) financial vehicles (via TFSA, TFSA, RRSP, RESP, etc.),
2) the stock market (ETFs, mutual funds, how to analyze a stock's balance sheet and indicators/ratios, stocks, options, etc.),
In short, everything that young and not-so-young people with a heart in their belly should know, or should have known, before entering the job market, and that they didn't learn, or didn't learn well, at school!
